So, yes, this is my first blog entry. It's very interesting, as you can see so far, as I managed to come up with that brilliant and totally original title, inspired by the image included. Aren't I amazing? Anyway, the new year has come, and, once again, I feel no different. But who does, really? Unless something extraordinary has happened, such as getting married, having a child, or blowing up Earth, then there really is no difference.
But, before I go raving on with something which will sound cliche and emo, I will say this: there is no use trying to light a fire with damp wood. Yes, it is a saying, which was thought up by me a few days ago, and, hopefully, it is original. If you haven't got the meaning of it, I'll supply it: don't try and start something when the odds are nothing will happen.
However, it isn't all bad. After all, nothing will happen unless you take action, right? Well, most of the time it does, only you aren't involved in it's creation. Surely, however, there is something behind the doing and the result. Is there something in between? And what about the thought that inspires one to take action, this seems to be rarely mentioned, when, really, it's the most important thing in the process of action. I mean, what thought inspired Gavrilo Princip to shoot Franz Ferdinand, thus kicking off World War I? One that I do not know, and cannot be bothered to look up.
So, my friends, I will leave you with this: we're always thinking, aren't we, but are we controlling the thoughts or are they controlling us? In my opinion, neither, it is both.
